Sellout's Steal of the Week: Joseph Arthur
From what I can tell, Joseph Arthur's songwriting is very hit and miss. Specifically, some of his lyrics are unlistenably trite-- but then he delivers something like this song, the perfect mix of groove and mood. Enjoy.

You Waited a Month for THIS?
Ummm. So yeah, I've been a little distracted the last 4 weeks or so. I haven't been giving you the attention you need. We haven't made QUALITY TIME a priority. But listen, I had one hell of a 2 year old birthday party to plan (crawfish and beer, anyone?), vocals to record (do you have any idea how difficult artists can be?), mixes to finish (I actually enjoyed that), photos to take (so much easier with a stylist), a record to master (I hope you like low end as much as I do), artwork to finish (does anyone hate deadlines more than Isaac Alexander?), and a band to save (who knew Mike Beebe cared so much about Rod Bryan?)
Speaking of... Tonight's the night:
More coming soon, I promise.
