Sellout's Steal of the Week: Spoon


I had a conversation earlier this week with a certain current drummer of the boondogs wherein we discussed our mutual aversion to buzz bands. I really have been meaning to hear that Arcade Fire album, but in the meantime I've spent the past several months avoiding them.

I actively avoided Wilco until late in 2000 or so. I don't have any Modest Mouse albums. And I've somehow missed Spoon altogether. But as the buzz gathers around their new album (due out in March), and folks scour the internet for the leaked copy that's being reported today, I think I'll play catch up.
