How to Download an Atomic Bomb

So the new U2 record leaked last week, and someone handed me a copy. Listening now. If you wanna hear it, it's easy to find, if you know what I mean. Just think about where you usually find those Sellout Steals of the Week. . .

In other news, Bono and the Edge will be in town this week for the Clinton Library opening. Should be an interesting week, given all the left-wing moping of recent weeks. Julian and I are gonna bus it downtown for at least some of the fun. Will post reports here.

Red Chuck should have some good Al Franken stories by the end of the week, from what I understand.

alright. at the risk of losing any last shred of indie rock cred i may have (yeah right), i declare the new U2 record REALLY DAMN GOOD.

I've heard that this record belongs to the Edge-- that he made it while that other guy was out saving the world. Whatever the case, it's gotta be up there with Achtung Baby on my list.

have you heard it? discuss.

Oh yeah. I forgot to say that, without exception, I skip the song "Love & Peace or Else" when listening to the album. May even delete it from the ipod.

Red Chuck chimes on the topic over here.

Clinton Library opening was a bit soggy, btw. Funny to see the U2 guys play in a downpour. Opened with "Rain."
